Rylee starts 2nd grade!

So Rylee is now a 2nd grader! I am so old.

Michigan

Well, as many of you know I leave for Michigan in a couple of days. I don't want to go. Yes I know I volunteered and yes it should be a lot of fun but I hate leaving my family. I don't know how Jeff does it. I will only be gone for 5 days but it seems like forever. To top it off I have never been east of Colorado and I am going to Michigan. I cry every night hoping that Jeff will let me stay home but it hasn't worked yet. This makes me wonder how bad it will be when we move to Alabama for 2 years. I hate writing mopey blogs but I really needed to get this out. I will take lots of pics and post them. Oh and I get to have dinner with the General of the Utah National Guard so that should be fun. Wish me luck and I will miss you all. Love, Chelsea

We had a very good Memorial Day. We first went to the West Jordan park and saw a memorial for our friends that died in a Apache Helicopter crash in 2007. It is good for us to remember what Memorial Day is about and I want to take a minute to tell all of the veteran's out there thank you for what you do! Also to my husband who is my hero, I don't know what I would do without him. And there is a group of people that do not get a lot of credit and that is the Wives and families that support our troops from home. Thank you for giving them a reason to fight for all of us!

We had so much fun at this party. I got to dress up and we got to rock out. Jeff really didn't want to dress up but he wore a Mettalica shirt (I totally spelled that wrong). This was a welcome home party for our friend Jason that just got home from Kuwait. Welcome home Jason!
